The Grand Cycling Challenge is open to cyclists of all abilities. Whether it's your first group ride, or you are a veteran racer. Come out to celebrate our sport on an extended course through downtown Grand Rapids.

Brief Description

The Grand Cycling Classic Challenge Ride is open to cyclists of all abilities, ages 10 and over. Whether it's your first group ride, or you're a veteran racer, come out to celebrate our sport on a 12.5 km closed course through downtown Grand Rapids. Victory Crew participants can raise money to support the Parkinson's disease research team at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and the Davis Phinney Foundation.

Additional Information

The 12.5 km Challenge Ride course is open for 3.5 hours. Bronze, silver and gold medals awarded for completing 2, 4 and 8 laps.

Registration Options:

General Entry: for cycling enthusiasts of all abilities, just wanting to ride. Victory Crew: Individual Fundraisers. Invite friends and family to support the event beneficiary. Corporate Challenge: Up to 6 riders per team, multiple teams are OK per organization, not necessarily a corporation, Fundraising as a group.

Additional Information

The course is open for timing for 3 1/2 hours. Complete 2 laps and receive bronze medal. Complete 4 laps, and receive a silver medal. Complete 8 laps and receive a gold medal!
