Brief Description

Fully supported rides with routes from 25 to 100 miles. New event T-shirts can be bought online or at at the event; the shirt design can be viewed at the club online store (available Feb. 15). Open unsupported club ride for Friday is free to participants with maps and leaders included. See www.bgcycling.org for details.

Dorm Rooms Available at Georgetown College

1. There is a $10 refundable key deposit that will be collected at Check In.
2. Two kids, 12 and under are free if they sleep on the floor.
3. Rooms have two single beds and space for 2 bikes per room. Linens, blankets, pillows and towels are NOT furnished. Community bathrooms and showers are on each floor.

Meal Plans Available for Dining at the College

Sign up for the all you care to eat breakfast buffet meals, includes both Saturday and Sunday breakfasts. Saturday dinner included in registration fee – Great Kentucky barbecue & fixins'; noon-6pm.

New this year: Friday Evening Block Party!

Georgetown is hosting a block party on the Courthouse square from 6-9 on Friday evening, May 28. There will be a Bluegrass Band and food for sale. Alcoholic beverages are available next door at Galvan’s Restaurant (for consumption inside the restaurant). Register for the Horsey and then enjoy Georgetown's hospitality.

Open BlueGrass Cycling Club ride

Friday, May 28, 9 am – Open, unsupported club ride (20- 42 miles). The Friday ride is free and will have a leader to answer questions and provide maps. Details at: www.bgcycling.org at the Rides link.

Rider Indentification

All riders will be required to wear a temporary ride identification bracelet. This will be your admission ticket to the rest stops, lunches, Saturday barbecue and SAG support. Any rider without an official ride bracelet will not be afforded the above ride benefits

Registration Information

Online registration closes May 22. Mail-in must be postmarked by May 20 to be accepted. On-site registration: Friday May 28, 3-10pm/ Sat. May 29, 6 - 9am/ Sunday May 30, 7-9am.
