Ride Options
Are you up for a challenge? Ready for a change of scenery? Wanting a ride to fill in the empty spot in your calendar? Whether you want a midsummer hard core training ride or a leisurely tour of Georgia's blackberry patches, we have just the ride for you. With four different ride options in what is considered the foothills of the Appalachians, there is a course for everyone from the beginner to the die-hard advanced rider. Available routes are as follows:
26 Miles For beginners who wants to test themselves with a nice morning ride in the countryside.
48 Miles So you said you’re up for a challenge and some scenery
76 Miles A century bailout for those of you who thought it wouldn’t be quite THIS hot today
101 Miles NOT for the faint of heart, better bring a good set of legs and some determination.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK UP: at Heard County Middle School
Night before: 6-10PM
Morning of: 7– 8AM
Registration Fee: $30.00 (before 7/19/10)
Registration Fee: $40.00 (after 7/19/10)
FEE INCLUDES: 1 pair of SockGuy socks*, swag bag*, 1 Chick-fil-A sandwich, a chance to win a great item in our drawing, rest stops, medical assistance and SAG vehicles available. *WHILE SUPPLIES LAST
SILENT AUCTION: There will be a chance to bid on 4 separate Thomson Gift Certificates good for one Thomson Stem or Seatpost of your choice. (Value up to $ 149.95) The auction will open first thing in the morning on July 31st and close at 4PM or 30 minutes after the last rider finishes. Details: Write your desired bid on 1, 2, 3 or all 4 bidding forms, at the end, the highest bidder wins. You do not have to have the money with you on the day of, you can mail your winning bid amount to us and we will mail your certificate to you.

Everyone will be required to sign a release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement.
There will be no refunds and the ride takes place rain or shine.
The gymnasium will be made available Friday evening for indoor camping. NOTE: Bring your own sleeping bags and/or air mattresses (legged cots, food, drink and hard-soled shoes not permitted).
Showers are available in the school building before and after the ride.
$1 from every paid registered participant goes directly to help fund Georgia Bikes, our statewide bicycle advocacy organization.
