Brief Description

This event offers something for everyone with a 54 mile race, an 11 mile trail ride and 20, 40 and 60 mile rides. Online registration closes midnight September 10. On-site registrations welcome. Ride The Rock is a bicycle event that benefits the Jefferson County Literacy Council, Inc., a non-profit organization providing adult and family literacy services throughout Jefferson County, Wisconsin. On-site registrations are welcome!!

The ride begins in Fort Atkinson and travels through the beautiful rural countryside of Southeastern Wisconsin. Jefferson County is known as one of the most bicycle friendly counties in Southeastern Wisconsin. Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin is 2.5 hours from Chicago, 1 hour from Milwaukee and 30 minutes from Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to a 54 mile timed race, 20, 40 and 60 mile rides, there will be a scavenger hunt on the 11 mile trail ride, and children accompanied by an adult can receive and be fitted for a free helmet. A GREAT EVENT FOR THE WINDING DOWN OF THE BICYCLING SEASON!
