Brief Description

Lake Winnebago, one of the largest inland lakes in the United States and the most popular lake in Wisconsin will be the 90 mile course for the event. This is the LONGEST timed, all citizen bike race in the United States. We welcome the blending of all cycling lovers, including the professional, triathlete, tandem, recumbent, and recreational cyclist. The 4th annual one-of-a-kind 90 mile bike event travels along the Lake Winnebago shoreline; starting and finishing in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Team Challenge

Health Expo, Registration & Packet Pick-Up

Saturday, August 20 from 11-5 p.m. at Lakeside Park. Pick up your race information, register for the event and stay for informative clinic and course talks held throughout the day. Complete Clinic & Course Talk Schedule will be posted on midwestsportsevents.com. Registration and packet pick-up will also be available the morning of the race at the start (52 W. Scott St) from 4:45 - 5:30 a.m.

The Course

The course travels 90 miles around scenic Lake Winnebago. Course includes: Fond du Lac, Winnebago, Outagamie and Calumet Counties. The start and finish is at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac. Course heads north hugging the lake through then finishes at Lake Side Park, Fond du Lac. Riders will see a plethora of sites: the Lighthouse in Oshkosh, the climb up “High Cliff” at High Cliff State Park and down the panoramic east shoreline of Lake Winnebago.

Awards

TBA Prize money to overall winners! Must be in Pro First Wave to qualify for this. First Wave will also be eligible for age group awards. Midwest Sports Events prides themselves with unique awards! Overall awards to the top female and male and age group winners in the following 5 year increment age categories: 14 & under to 95 plus. Awards to the top 3 relay teams, tandem, and Recumbent. Participation medal to all finishers! Part of the 5-STAR Series.

Midwest Sports Events Amenities

All participants receive a dri-wick shirt, PASTA DINNER, goody bag, chip timing and plenty of entertainment! Beer will be provided for all participants courtesy of Stevens Point Brewery. Plenty of bike aid stations along the course. Gatorade and water bottle exchange at High Cliff. Post event buffet complete with healthy foods to refuel.

What to Expect

This will not be a closed course so cyclists must be aware of normal traffic. Intersections are controlled with police and volunteers. You must arrive at High Cliff State Park by 10:00 a.m. to continue the second half. You must complete the entire event within 7 hours 40 minutes, a pace of approximately 12.7 mph.

Midwest Sports Events Refund Policy

There will be NO REFUNDS issued for ANY reason. There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

TRANSFER FROM 2011 TO 2012 EVENT There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year's event to future year events.

RACE FEE TRANSFER There will be NO TRANSFER OF FEES from one race to another.
