Brief Description

The 2012 Fletcher Flyer offers three rolling routes through the beautiful hills of western North Carolina

Full Century - 100 miles, 4044' of climb
Metric Century - 62 miles, 3039' of climb
Half Century - 50 miles, 2216' of climb

A challenge for first time riders
A fast ride for experienced riders

and a 30 miles Fletcher Lite, 1280' of climb

Phased Start

Phased Start begins at 8:00 AM for 100, 60, and 50 mile rides; Fletcher Lite 30 mile ride begins at 9:00 AM

After Ride Showers

Showers and whirlpool facilities are available after the ride at no cost, 3 miles from Fletcher Community Park at Lelia Patterson Center - bring a towel and a one piece swimsuit

Register Early!
• The first 500 registered riders will receive official 2012 Fletcher Flyer socks
• Pick up your packet at Fletcher Park - Saturday, June 2 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or Sunday, June 3 from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM
• If online registration has closed, you can still register in person at Fletcher Community Park during the hours shown above

Ride for Better Cycling
• Presented by the Blue Ridge Bicycling Club (BRBC) and the WNC Bicycle Dealers Association (WNCBDA)
• Proceeds go to the BRBC's cycling advocacy programs and the WNCBDA's promotion of bicycling
• Over the last 8 years, over $100,000 of BRBC event profits have been spent on WNC cycling advocacy programs
• Your support will help us promote safe and enjoyable bike routes in WNC

Team in Training
• Riders from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training (TNT) program will ride in the Fletcher Flyer again this year
