Start AND Finish at MiraCosta College
START & FINISH is at MiraCosta College. Take 1-5 N/S, exit Manchester Ave. and go east approx 1 mile to MiraCosta College. There is parking for over 800 cars at MCC and at adjacent sites. Finishers awards will be given at MCC. Post-event food and drink and optional lunch will be also be available at MCC.
Friday Packet Pick-Up and Late Registration
Pre-registered riders may pick-up numbers and ride packet on Friday, May 21st, from noon until 7:00pm at the SDC Official Bike Store B&L BIKE & SPORT - 211 N. Highway 101, Solana Beach - 858/481-4148, blbikes.com.
If ride numbers are still available, they may be purchased at this time, but there is a late fee. Lunch Tickets are also available for purchase at Registration.
Event Day Packet Pick-up and Late Registration
Event Day packet pick-up for pre-registered riders and Day Of registration is between 6:00am & 8:00am on Saturday May 22, 2010 at MiraCosta College, 3333 Manchester Ave., Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA 92007 (in Encinitas, California). If we are not sold out , ride numbers are available for purchase with a Late Fee. Lunch Tickets are also available at Registration. Size of clothing is not guaranteed for Late Registrants. Registered Riders Recieve
Well-stocked SAG stops every 15-20 miles, individual course bracelet, very well-marked courses, mobile SAGs with mechanical support, shuttle to MCC for DNF, route slips, finishers' memento, Finish Party at MCC.
Clothing & Souvenirs
Men's and Women's jerseys sizing now available.Only jersey orders placed before March 5, 2010 will be guaranteed ride day availability. All pre-ordered and paid-for clothing and souvenirs must be picked up on Friday at B&L before 7:00pm or on Saturday at MCC before 6:00pm. Clothing not picked up will require an addition $10.00 postage/handling fee to be mailed. Some clothing will be available for sale on Friday and Saturday.
Encinitas Sports Festival
The San Diego Century is part of the Encinitas Sports Festival (May 15-22, 2010)
Saturday 5/15 The Encinitas Sports Festival has a 5K/1K Run, Sports Expo and Ocean Paddle Races.
Sunday 5/16 features the 5th annual Encinitas Sprint Triathlon, Super-Sprint Triathlon and Beach Duathlon and 1 - mile Ocean Swim.
There is a two-day Sports Expo at Moonlight Beach on with 50+ booths, live music and the finish line for the races. Go to: www.EncinitasRace.com.
