OVERVIEW
Pro Challenge Experience, Presented By UnitedHealthcare is a bike ride and festival for cyclists who want to share the Start Line that the world's best pros will cross to kick off the 2012 USA Pro Challenge.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Big Ride: The Big Ride is a 72-mile ride that starts in downtown Durango with a loop of the USA Pro Challenge Start. Riders then leave for Wildcat Canyon. The ride returns to downtown Durango and then climbs steadily to Durango Mountain Resort via Route 250 and Shalona Hill. After a quick pitstop at Durango Mountain Resort, riders will return via Route 550 with a final push into Fort Lewis College for the Finish Festival.
Durango to DMR: This 45-mile route mirrors The Big Ride, however, riders will be greeted by a Finish festival hosted by Durango Mountain Resort.
RIDE INFORMATION
All riders will begin at 7am.
Bike Numbers and Wrist Bands: You must wear your bike event number and wrist band at all times.

TRAVEL PLANS

TRANSPORTATION
Durango Mountain Resort will offer riders and their families staying at DMR properties options for moving between start and finish areas. Those staying in Durango and finishing at DMR may book return transportation for $15 by calling DMR Transportation at 970-426-7282. Reservation strongly recommended.
