Brief Description

Fee includes ride, hearty spaghetti lunch and one opportunity drawing ticket. Entry fees are non-refundable and all proceeds go to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park Interpretive Association. Format and course: Cards will be drawn at five locations along an 18 mile route on fire roads and singletrack. An optional 6th card is available for riding an extra 4-mile section. THIS IS NOT A RACE.

Directions

Take Hwy. 79 (south from Julian or north from Interstate 8) and take turnoff for Stonewall Mine. Continue for 2 miles and turn right on Stonewall Mine Road. Parking is limited. Carpooling is highly encouraged (extra raffle ticket for all those arriving in a car with two or more participants). Late arrivals may be directed to overflow parking.

Additional Information

Registration starts at 7:30am and ride start window is 8:00am to 9:30am.

Awards presentation and opportunity drawing begin at 1:30 p.m.Start and Finish location at Los Vaqueros Horse camp in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park.

Event T-shirts will be included with your registration until Oct. 5, 2012. After that shirts are $10 each.

Great prizes and giveaways: Riders must complete the course and turn in their list of cards by 1 p.m. to be eligible for prizes. Prizes will be awarded for the best (and worst) list of cards. Additional prizes will be determined by a random draw in the opportunity drawing. Prizes include bike parts, accessories, cycling apparel, Julian apple pies, gift certificates, and much more.

Opportunity drawing tickets are $1.00 each or 25 for $20.00.

Additional information: Please bring extra water! Registration limited to the first 300 riders, so sign up early. Please be aware that helmets are required on this ride. NO exceptions!
