THE KAISER PERMANENTE MOONLIGHT CLASSIC
Grab your BIKE and your friends; OH yeah and your BEST LOOKING costume too, and head down to the 18th Annual Kaiser Permanente MOONLIGHT CLASSIC.
Imagine the excitement of pedaling through the streets of Downtown Denver and surrounding suburbs on Saturday night, July 17th for the most fun you can have on you fancy cruiser or you dusty bike from the garage.
No matter what you’re riding, it’s nothing but great fun!
A Capitol idea
The Kaiser Permanente Moonlight Classic will start and finish at the foot of Colorado’s most recognizable landmark — The Colorado State Capitol in downtown Denver.
We have combined both courses to a 10- mile ride that will be closed to all automobile traffic for a certain amount of time. It will tour landmarks, new and old. Including, the Denver business district, Lower Downtown and the Cherry Creek shopping district. Participants are welcomed to do as many laps as time permits. All will seem very different by the light of the moon.
Registration
Registration and the 180 Energy Drink After Hours Cycling Bash will take place from 8:30p.m. Saturday night to midnight. Cyclists may begin riding at 10:30 p.m. in the Cruiser Family Wave & 11:30 in the Gonzo Wave. The last riders must start by 12:00 a.m

Proceeds from the Kaiser Permanente MOONLIGHT CLASSIC benefits SENIORS INC. Created in 1969, SENIORS INC. is a non-profit agency dedicated to promoting independence and enriching the quality of life as we age. The organization sponsors programs and services throughout Colorado, which help and encourage the elderly to live independently, and support opportunities for older adults to continue to learn, grow and contribute to society.

Two Midnight Snack Stops along the course will be stocked with eye-opening refreshments and night-cruising entertainment.
Irve Berlau Lunar Breakfast
When you finish your ride, a delicious breakfast (breakfast burrito, bagels, pastries, & juice) lunar tunes, will be awaiting you back at The Colorado State Capitol.
