Additional Information
The 6th Annual Festival for Hope and Housing: Ride, Stride and Taste of Home is a fun, family-friendly event featuring 100, 50, and 25K bike rides and a 5K Family Fun Ride or Stride.
Cycling enthusiasts will enjoy riding the distance courses that take riders through the beautiful surrounding countryside of Cabarrus, Iredell, Mecklenburg and Rowan counties. All rides are fully supported with SAG vehicles and rest stops to accommodate cyclists. Restrooms and refreshments are provided along the 25K, 50K, and 100K routes. Plenty of food will be available at the finish line for all riders and volunteers.
While the cyclists sweat it out on the road, families and young children are invited to participate in the 5K Family Fun Ride or Stride through Davidson's charming neighborhoods.
All athletic events start at Davidson United Methodist Church, 233 South Main Street, Davidson and end at the Davidson Town Green. There, participants can purchase tokens to sample delicious food from Davidson-based eateries, visit sponsors tables, and enjoy live music.
The 6th annual Festival for Hope and Housing: Ride, Stride and Taste of home is community event you don't want to miss! All proceeds benefit Davidson Housing Coalition, a non-profit working with the larger community to preserve and create affordable housing options and to prepare families and individuals for financial stability and homeownership.
