Additional Information
The Wildflower Bike Ride is the major fundraiser of the Anchor Club, enabling them to continue their many, many school and community service projects.
Proceeds from the bike ride help fund such worthy community service projects as a Prom for Special Needs Students, Brain Minder Buddies programs at the schools, School Supplies Drive, Care Kits for Women’s Crisis Centers, camping scholarships to Camp Higher Ground, a camp for adults with brain-related injuries and diseases, and college scholarships for Anchor Club seniors.
In addition, Anchor Club members volunteer in the community at various functions: the annual Chamber of Commerce auction, Cuero’s Halloween Carnival, Health Fair, bingo at area nursing homes….to name a few. Your participation in this ride helps us to continue our special projects and is greatly appreciated.
