Brief Description

The 4th Annual Conway Area Bike Ride is a fundraiser for Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs that is organized by Conway Area Philanthropists, Inc. Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs serves individuals and families with intellectual and related disabilities, head and spinal cord injuries and autism. This year our goal is to raise $10,000.00 for the participants of this wonderful organization.

Additional Information

The Conway Area Bike Ride, formerly known as the Michelob Ultra Bike Ride, began in 2003. The event coincided wiht the Myrtle Beach Marathon. In 2009, the event was relocated from Myrtle Beach to Conway, SC and is organized by Conway Area Philanthropists, Inc. Conway Area Philanthropists is a 501(c)3 public charity that was organized to assist other 501(c)3 public charities with fundraising and awareness of the benefits they provide to our community. The Ride raises money and awareness for Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs. In 2012, the ride raised over $4000.00. This year our goal is $10,000. The event consists of 3 separate rides: 14.2 Mile, 33.5 Mile and the 63 Mile Ride.
