Brief Description

Join us for a Kids on Bikes Bike Festival! The day will include many family events and activities for everyone to enjoy! All proceeds from this event will benefit Kids on Bikes. Kids on Bikes was established as a nonprofit organization in 2005 with a mission to give new bikes to underprivileged children through programs that inspire a healthy lifestyle, independence, and achievement. Come join us for the day and support this wonderful organization!

4-Mile Family Ride

Enjoy a fabulous out and back bike ride along the Pikes Peak Greenway. The wide multi-use trail is a perfect place to ride with the family.

10-mile Route

For the more experienced bike rider, enjoy 10 miles of trail riding along the Pikes Peak Greenway.

15-mile Challenge

Go for GOLD! Pedal from America the Beautiful Park to Criterium Bike shop then downhill back to the Park for a fun day at the festival.

Age Restrictions

Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult on all rides.

Registration Fee

Registration fee is $15 per person or $50 for the entire family. All participants will receive a Kids on Bikes water bottle and goodie bag. Registration fee includes entrance to the kids fun zone and bike festival activities. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be available the day of the ride.

Additional Information

Summary of events -- 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM:
o Live bands beginning at 11am and throughout the day
o Food Vendors
o Bike Decorating Station
o Family Fun Bike Ride
o Kid and Adult "Fun" Bike Races
o Kids Fun Zone with a bounce house, games and other kid activities
o BMX demonstration
o Bike Safety Clinic
o Local Merchant Booths
o Classic Bike Exhibit
o Local Artist Exhibit
o Secure valet parking for your bike

Come early to take in the festivities and decorate your bike! Festival opens at 11AM!
o Bike Parade at 1:00 PM (anyone is welcome and encouraged to participate -- show off your bike's great decorations)
o Family Fun Ride at 1:30 PM -- all ages welcome!
o 4 mile, 10 mile and 15 mile courses on Pikes Peak Greenway
o Children's and Adult's cycling jerseys available to support KOB
o Show your children the joy of a group ride!
