Full- and partial-Tour registrants in the 2010 STIHL Tour des Trees commit to raising a minimum of $3,500 (full-Tour) or $600 (per day) for the TREE Fund by August 14, 2010. Fundraising shortfalls will be billed to the credit card on file.

When you register to ride in the STIHL Tour des Trees a fundraising page is created automatically for you on Active.com. Customize your page with pictures and a personal message, then e-mail a link to family and friends to begin raising money for the TREE Fund.

June 1: Full- and Partial-Tour ($100)
July 5: Full- and Partial-Tour late registration ($125)
July 17: July 24 "Ride for Research" only ($75)

Registration Details

Register as an individual or join a team for the 2010 STIHL Tour des Trees! Working with a team is a fun way to stay motivated for training and fundraising!

TEAM BUILDING: Team Captain must register first, then team members register individually. The team must be registered before individual team members can do so.

Age requirement

Minimum age for participants is 18 years old unless riding with a legal guardian.

Additional Information

The STIHL Tour des Trees is the signature fundraising event of the TREE Fund, a 501(c)3 foundation providing funding for scholarships, research and educational programs in arboriculture and urban forestry. The 2010 Tour rolls out from Millennium Park, Chicago, on July 18, then heads north and west to the Mississippi. 500 miles and 15-20 tree plantings later, the Tour concludes on July 24 with a 1-day, 30-mile “Ride for Research” in Chicago’s western suburbs and a finale celebration at the Morton Arboretum. Full-Tour riders commit to raising a minimum of $3,500 to support tree research and education. Riders may opt to join the Tour en route, with a fundraising commitment of $600 per day. Entrance fee for the July 24 “Ride for Research” only is $75. (Full-Tour registration fee includes July 24 “Ride for Research”).
