Brief Description

The 25th anniversary edition of the 3 State 3 Mountain Challenge takes place on May 5, 2012.

This unique century features some of the most scenic and challenging routes in the southeast. 4 Rider options: the 100-mile challenge (3 states, 3 mountains), a 90-mile route (3 states, 2 mountains), a 62-mile route (2 states, 1 mountain) and a 25-mile route (2 states, 0 mountains).

The Chattanooga Bicycle Club and Outdoor Chattanooga present the 25th anniversary edition of the 3 State 3 Mountain Challenge.

New for 2012: Positive rider feedback convinced us to make the 90-mile route from last year an official option this year. It travels into 3 states and up and over the first 2 mountains (NOT Burkhalter).

Electronic timing - All riders on all routes will be chip timed this year. The antenna is in the bib, so there’s no need to arrive at dark:thirty to get your chip! You don’t have to return it either.

"Conquer The Gap" bragging rights! All 100-mile Challenge riders will be timed on their climb up Burkhalter Gap. Times will be posted, recognition for all, special gift basket for the male and female riders getting from the bottom to the top with the fastest times.

Early Bird Registration advantage - All riders registering BEFORE January 1, 2012 will receive a technical fabric event tee. Folks registering after December 31 will receive a 50/50 cotton blend event tee. All registrations also include well-stocked rest stops, great on-the-road support, post ride meal. Showers will be available after the ride.

Note: Registration for the 2012 3 State 3 Mountain Challenge will close at midnight on April 28, 2012.
