Why Ride?

Join us on this fun bicycle tour of East Contra Costa County, stopping at participating Starbucks along the way for refreshments. Enjoy a great day with family, friends and neighbors, riding through local cities and joining in with the post-ride festivities. Whether you are new to riding or an experienced cyclist, we have a route for you. The proceeds from this ride benefit the Brentwood Police Activities League and the Brentwood Youth Commission.

Route 1

Tall - 8+ miles of mostly bike trails following Marsh and Sand Creek. This scenic route will cater to the novice rider and children. Only a very short portion of the ride will actually be on the streets of Brentwood. Start time 10 AM to 11 AM

Route 2

Grande- 24 miler. This flat route goes out to Discovery Bay and comes back to Brentwood on scenic farm roads. Some of these roads are narrow, so some cycling experience is recommended, although the course itself is fine for road, mountain, hybrid bikes. Start time 9 AM to 10 AM

Route 3

Venti- 100K (62 miles). This route loops into Antioch first thing in the morning and includes a few urban hill climbs before coming back to the Sand Creek Starbucks to follow the Grande riders to Byron and Discovery Bay. A little more climbing before a short trip to the top of the Dam at Los Vaqueros and then mostly flat and fast farmland roads back to the finish. Some of these roads are narrow with a little more traffic than the Grande route. Start time 7 AM to 8 AM

Check-in

On site registration and check in will begin at 6:30 AM, at Starbucks Coffee 2530 Sand Creek Road, Brentwood, CA. Helmets must be worn by all participants while on your bike.

Costs

Registration Fees: Venti - $30; Grande - $25; Tall - $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 15-17, kids 14 and under are free. (Fees for Venti and Grande increase by $5 for same day registration).

Food

There will be snacks at all the stops along with refreshments provided by Rubio's and Fuzio's at the end of the ride.
