A recreational bicycle ride to purchase new and reconditioned bicycles and tricycles and accessories to donate to the homeless and those in-need.
Five all new routes: Mass start for the 20 mile ride starts at 8:30, 35 mile ride starts at 8:30, 50 mile ride starts at 8:00, metric century starts at 7:30, and the century starts at 7:00. Century and Metric Century Routes are open 7 AM to 2:30 PM. Other routes are open 8 AM to 2:30 PM.
$30 per individual, regardless of ride distance
In lieu of the $30, donate a new or used cruiser, coaster, or mountain bike with 24-inch or 26-inch wheels in working condition.
You can become a Bike Donor for a registration contribution of $100. A bike with front and rear lights, lock, rear rack, helmet, and TdR tee shirt will be given in your name to a homeless person who can put a name to the gift. You will receive a special Donor premium and we will acknowledge you as a Bike Donor at Tour de Ranch 2011.
Is 100% tax-deductible and includes a continental breakfast, 7 well-stocked SAG stops, brunch/lunch at MacAllister’s Grill & Tavern (until 3 PM), TdR 2010 tee shirt while supplies last, road SAG support, marked route and cue sheet.
Exit 213 (University Blvd.) on I-75 (northern most Sarasota exit), go east 1 mile to Lakewood Ranch Blvd., go north (left) 1/2 mile to Main St on the right.
