Brief Description

Proceeds raised by the Pink Ribbon Ride support breast cancer support programs offered through Northern Michigan Regional Hospital and Charlevoix Area Hospital Foundations.

7:30 - 9:00 a.m. - 7, 20 & 42 Mile Registration

Description

42 & 55 MILE RIDES: Both loops start by heading through Horton Bay, out to the bike path running along Lake Michigan, into Charlevoix, up along the back roads to the Ironton Ferry and across. Intermediate to Advanced level.
42 Mile - Finishes along the southern shore of Lake Charlevoix into Boyne City.
55 Mile - After crossing the ferry turn right heading into East Jordan, through rolling terrain, around Deer Lakes, then back into Boyne City.

20 MILE RIDE: Beautiful cycling along the southern shore of Lake Charlevoix takes you to the charming destination point of the Ironton Ferry. Return following same route. Beginning to Intermediate level.
7 MILE RIDE: Ride along southern shore of Lake Charlevoix to the Village of Advance and return on the same route. Beginning level.

Bicycle Safety:

Cyclists must wear helmets
Travel in a consistent and predictable manner
Pass on the left and give a courteous and audible signal of your intention to pass
Stop, look, and yield to traffic at crossing
Keep to the right & follow the marked route
Respect the privacy of adjacent land owners
No stroller bike attachments
No pets, alcohol, drugs or firearms
Sag support available on designated routes only

Sag water stops and support vehicles, available until 12:00 Noon
