Brief Description

The 16th annual Spin Your Wheels Bicycle Tour will be held on Saturday, August 11th. Hosted by the West Oklahoma City Rotary Club, Spin Your Wheels benefits The Children's Center, a private, nonprofit pediatric hospital focused on maximizing the potential of children with complex medical needs and disabilities. Spin Your Wheels is a non-competitive event, with course options ranging from 12 to 100 miles.

Registration Packet Pick-Up

Registration packets may be picked up on the main campus of The Children's Center on Tuesday, August 7th through Friday, August 10th from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Bib numbers, event t-shirts, course maps and promotional items will be available at that time. Registration packets may also be obtained pre-ride (August 11th) beginning at 6:00 am.

Start Times

Cyclists will depart from The Children's Center at 7:00 a.m. The 100-mile cyclists will depart first.

Course Options

Course distances include 12, 24, 46, 71 and 100-mile options. Course distances are approximate. All courses will be open to traffic. Cyclists must obey all traffic laws. Helmets are required. Course maps are available at www.SpinYourWheels.org.

What Your Registration Fee Includes:

Cyclists will receive an event t-shirt and a complimentary on-site, post-ride lunch. Pre-ride refreshments as well as fully stocked rest stops will also be available. Should you need them, our many Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles will be there to assist you.

Youth Entries

Any participant under the age of 18 must submit a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Children ages 12 and younger may ride for free, but still must complete a registration form and must be accompanied by an adult (online registration not available). Participants ages 12 and younger will not receive an event t-shirt.

Parking

Parking will be available across the street from The Children's Center, on the north side of N.W. 39th Expressway, in the Bethany First Church of the Nazarene parking lot. Additional parking will be available on the west lawn of The Children's Center campus. Cyclists may not park in the downtown Bethany area, or in parking lots on The Children's Center's campus.

The course is open to vehicular traffic. Cyclists are expected to observe all traffic laws. Helmets are required for all cyclists.
