Brief Description

Join us for Tour de Whatcom, 7/28/2012, a charity bike ride to benefit charities of Whatcom County. In 2011 we had 878 riders and raised over $20,000!! Rides: 25, 50 or 105 miles, perfect for a family outing and serious riders alike. Fantastic rest stops. Support vehicles and techs available. The rides are awesome. See everything: Mt Baker, Lake Whatcom, valleys, rivers, lush farmland, beaches and Puget Sound all in one fairly level ride. See website for route maps and details.

Come join us for Tour de Whatcom, a ride to benefit charities of Whatcom County. In 2011 we raised over $20,000! Choose the length of your ride - 25, 50 or 105 miles, perfect for a family outing and serious riders alike. Lots of fresh fruit, breakfast cookies and Gatorade will be available at fantastic rest stops. See website for route maps. Rest stops approximately every 20 miles for 105 route and every 12.5 miles for the 25 & 50 mile routes. Plenty of fresh fruit, snack and drinks along the way. 25 mile route very flat. 50 mile route has one only short hill (1/2 mile 4.6% grade) plus some rollers. 105 is fairly flat with only 2,200' of elevation gain. The rides are awesome. You get to see everything: Mt Baker, Lake Whatcom, valleys, rivers, lakes, farmland, beaches and Puget Sound all in one fairly level ride. Bike Techs will be available at start and each rest-stop (parts are at your expense). Motorcycles will be cruising the routes to make sure all are safe. Trucks are on call to pick up anyone needing a lift. Beautiful Ride! $10 surcharge for day-of registrations so please register online. Beautiful ride for a great cause!
