Description
Loop the Lake for Literacy is a cycling event benefiting the programs of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County that ensure that adults, children, youth and families gain the literacy skills necessary to succeed in life. In this fun, adventurous event, cyclists will ride around the shores of Lake Okeechobee to raise funds and awareness for the Coalition and its mission.
The first three rides: the "Sonnet" (Short), the "Short Story" (Medium) and the "Classic Metric Century" (Long) will take place primarily on the dike
Event schedule and times
Epic - Full Loop riders will take off at 7:00am sharp. All others will start at 8:00am, in waves separeted by a couple of minutes. - cyclists with faster average pace in the front, slower riders in the back.
