A Race and Recreational Ride from the Winter Gate on Highway 82 to the Independence Ghost Town ten miles east. An elevation gain of 2,000' from 9,400' to 11,400'. An opportunity to ride this scenic corridor before it opens to automobile traffic for the summer.
