Brief Description

In 2011 Katelynn’s Ride raised $120,000 totaling well over 1.4 million dollars in the past 11 years to fund research and treatment in the fight against cancer. Please join Dan, Kim, Steven, and the Battista Family as they share Katelynn’s courage and continue the fight against cancer through the 12th Annual Katelynn's Ride.

FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT

18 & Over (as of 6/3/12): guarantee minimum of $350
Under 18 (as of 6/3/12): guarantee minimum of $150
**Riders are responsible for their fundraising commitment unless they cancel their registration by 5/6/12; riders who cancel after 5/6/12, but prior to 6/3/12 are responsible for 50% of their commitment; registration fee does not count towards minimum; commitment must be met by 8/1/12.

Rider Registration

Opens March 1, 2012. Registration fee for all riders is $50. Fees: Fundraising minimums: 18 years and older as of 6/3/2012: minimum fundraising is $350. Under 18 years of age as of 6/3/2012: minimum fundraising is $150.

Team Registration

Opens March 1, 2012. Registration fee for all riders is $50. Fees: Fundraising minimums: 18 years and older as of 6/3/2012: minimum fundraising is $350. Under 18 years of age as of 6/3/2012: minimum fundraising is $150. Team members may help one another meet their individual fundraising requirements.

Team Registration: TEAM CAPTAINS

You MUST click the BLUE "CREATE YOUR TEAM" button found centered near the top of THIS page (to the right of the KRide logo) to create your team. Once your team has been created, please return to this page and click on the green REGISTER NOW button, then select TEAM REGISTRATION and register yourself as part of your team.

Team Registration: RIDERS

Please click on the green REGISTER NOW button to register. Select TEAM REGISTRATION. On the registration form, select your Team name from the drop down list of teams, then continue with your registration. If you do NOT see your team's name in the drop down list, please contact your team captain.

Who benefits from Katelynn's Ride

During registration you will be given the choice of where you would like your donations to go. You may choose between the Children's Cancer Hope Fund at Baystate Medical Center’s Sadowsky Center for Children, or the Jimmy Fund in support of Dana Farber Cancer Institute, or both.

POST-RIDE CELEBRATION:

Approximately 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (at finish area) Cyclists and guests are welcome to enjoy the on-site BBQ & live entertainment. Shower facilities and massages are available for riders. Exciting door prizes and opportunity drawing!

OUR STORY
In 2001, Katelynn’s Ride was formed in memory of eleven-year old Katelynn Battista of West Springfield who lost her battle with cancer in 1997. Over the past 11 years, the event has successfully raised more than 1.4 million dollars in the fight against cancer!
Each year we are inspired by the overwhelming support that we receive from our community. Together we are making a difference! Please join us as a sponsor, cyclist or volunteer as we set out to raise an additional $175,000.
Katelynn’s Ride is proud to provide hope and inspiration to cancer patients and their families at both the Jimmy Fund Clinic and Baystate Medical Center’s Sadowsky Center for Children.

100 mile ride: 7:00am Registration begins at 6:00am
50 mile ride: 9:00am Registration begins at 8:00am
25 mile ride: 11:00am Registration begins at 10:00am
10 mile ride: 11:30am Registration begins at 10:30am

Anticipated finish for most cyclists is 1:00pm – 4:00pm
