Brief Description

Ride thru scenic Arkansas Wine Country along the Arkansas River Valley in the tour of your choice -- 17 mile, 35 mile, 100K, 80 mile, or 100 mile tour. All tours will end at the Post Familie Winery. A champagne brunch co-sponsored by the Post Familie Winery will be available to EVERY cyclist at their facility in Altus until 2 p.m.

 

Improvements made

1. Numbers will be distributed to all registered cyclists at the registration table. 2. These numbers will be your admisstion at the end of your tour to the Post Familie Winery brunch. 3. Two additional routes were added at the request of several participants last year. 4. In addition to signs along the tour routes, the roads will be marked before each turn. 5. Better signs will be posted at the Post Familie Winery to attract attention of all cyclists.

The two new courses added are the 35 mile and the 80 mile. NOTE: the 100 mile course has been changed from last year.

* This is a rain or shine event * Registration begins at 7:00 AM * The 100 mile tour begins at 8:00 AM SHARP * The other tours begin shortly after * Only pre-registered cyclists are assured a T-shirt * Bicycle helmets are required by all riders * The course will close at 2 PM and after that cyclists will be on their own * Services provided will include stocked rest stations, emergency services, route patrols. * Post-tour food and beverages will be available at the Post Familie Winery for EVERY cyclist till 2 pm. The numbers distributed at registration are your entry to this brunch. * ALL proceeds benefit Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
