You don't have to be a Naples resident to care about safety and accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists in Collier County. If you have ever visited, plan to visit in the future and you want to be able to walk and/or bike safely while you're here, join NPC today!
We believe you shouldn't need a car to get where you want to go safely. ALL users need to be considered when roads are built or improved. Most pedestrians and cyclists are also motorists at times too so we're not out to get all the cars off the road. We just need to make it safe for EVERYONE!
Most travel is within just a few miles from home. If more trips could be made on foot or bike, we would be in better physical shape, we would reduce our carbon footprint, we would reduce traffic congestion and parking hassles, and running errands could actually be an enjoyable activity!
We educate the community, put on bike rodeos for children, help lower income workers who use their bikes for commuting by installing front and rear lights on their bikes, as well as putting on several fun rides throughout the year!
