Pedal off from Laishley Marina on picturesque Charlotte Harbor on one of five exciting rides: 62/30/15-mile, 10-mile Mystery Tour, and City Managers/History Tour at 1 p.m. and either tour the beautiful country of southern Charlotte county or the charming quaintness of historic Punta Gorda. The 62/30/15/10-mile will not be a mass start. Come, play, and enjoy: Welcome breakfast (7-9 a.m.) and full lunch (11 a.m.-2 p.m.) provided by Wood Street Grill; FREE beer at noon; Island Vibes steel drum music during lunch; fully-stocked rest stops for 62/30/15/10-mile rides; FREE T shirt to all pre-registrations received on or before by March 24. A limited-edition Pedal and Play jersey is available for $55. Sign-in begins at 7 a.m. Special Bonus: All morning riders can participate in the City Managers/History Tour at 1 p.m. for no additional fee. The City Manager's/History Tour does not include food or rest stops.

New in 2013! Come early Punta Gorda for the weekend. Participate in the criterium race on Friday and enjoy one of two breakfast rides on Sunday morning. All three rides are hosted by local bicycle shops at no additional fee. Breakfast not included. Participants will also be able to enjoy the Punta Gorda Redfish Festival at Laishley Park all weekend of Pedal and Play in Paradise.
Pedal and Play in Paradise is hosted by TEAM Punta Gorda, Isles Yacht Club, and Peace River Riders and benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and TEAM Punta Gordas bicycle-friendly community initiatives.
