What's Included

This class will focus on developing characters for the stage. This includes, but is not limited to vocalization, physicality, embodying the character, creating back-story, given circumstances, etc. This group will be developing their own characters from scratch while working with text pulled from plays, scenes, monologues, poetry, or anything that ignites that spark in them. The focus will be pushed towards the arena of theater and becoming an ensemble while also working on the individual characters that they discover and create. The session will end with a final performance/showcase for friends & family to attend, so they can fully see these characters come to life and interact with each other AND the audience. Please bring a pencil and notebook to first class.
