Recertification course for lay-responders. The objectives of this course are to recertify lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. We provide participants the ability to review key topics with an instructor, practice skills, then be tested.
Participants must have a valid American Red Cross (or equivalent) certification card in the review course(s) in order to enroll. Individuals may participate in a review course up to 12 months after the expiration of their certificate(s). Non-certificate holders may not participate in a review course.
