We are proud to introduce this program taught by Thomas Armour Youth Ballet’s instructor, Ms. Alejandra Martinez. The students will be introduced to the basic positions of the arms and feet, as well as the terminology for basic ballet movements. Since their ballet class will consist mostly of work in the center floor, the students will learn a wide variety of terminology and beginner adagio combinations. They will also be given time to explore creative movement and expressing themselves through the art of dance. Necessary attire: leotard, pink tights Necessary shoes: ballet shoes Ms. Martinez has received professional dance instruction from New World School of the Arts High School and New World College/ University of Florida. Alejandra’s passion for dance started at a very young age and continues to be a source of inspiration in her life.
