What's Included

RockMeister Summer Camp is a 5-day ages 13-18 High Adventure Climbing and Rappelling Summer Camp.

RockMeister is for high school age people with prior climbing/rappelling experience who are looking to progress onto more challenging terrain and learn advanced technical climbing skills. You will climb many sport routes between 5.6 and 5.10+ in difficulty. The nature of this summer camp requires more efficient movement skills and a higher degree of fitness.

RockMeister Summer Camp is about having fun while climbing great routes and learning. Topics covered will be sport-climbing hazards, climbing style, climbing a sport route, belaying a sport route and improving your mental/physical fitness.

Here is a typical Mon – Fri RockMeister Camp Itinerary In the Obed with too many opportunities/routes to list:

•Mon we’ll start with a tune up climb at "32 Feet per Second Squared" (5.5) in the Wild & Scenic Obed
•Tue Obed—"South Clear" Climbing Cocoa Puffs (5.7) & Comic Relief LT & Comic Relief Direct (5.8's)
•Wed Obed-Shadow Hawk, Fat Lady Sings, X-Rays, Turtle Tracks(5.9’s)
•Thu Obed-Motion Sickness, Electric Chair, Double Trouble, Back in the Saddle (5.10’s)
•Fri Obed-"Boulder Problems" with the likes of Eco-Terror, Nose Picker, Skid Marks and Megatron

RockMeister High Adventure Summer Camp is limited to a maximum of 6-campers. This is a vigorous Summer Camp for experienced climbers. Team Leaders and campers will set goals for the week looking to refine climbing efficiency.

Don't forget you must be in good to great physical shape for Rock Meister HA Summer Camp. You should climb regularly at a climbing gym, climbing wall or the outdoors. If you are in doubt give us a call first. Go Big!

We offer guided and unguided trips here in Middle Tennessee, for every ability level and outdoor interest-from backpacking and climbing to canoeing and kayaking and caving and fishing to name a few. Our goal is to teach people skills to safely enjoy the outdoors and to care for the outdoors in a responsible and knowledgeable manner.
