Gather your four legged friends, family, neighbors and coworkers and join us on Sunday, November 4th, 2012 for the first annual Wags for Wheels Dog Walk to benefit Meals on Wheels Programs & Services of Rockland.
- From Palisades Parkway Southbound - Take exit 6W - Orangeburg Road - Pearl River - Continue on Orangeburg Road which becomes Veterans Memorial Drive for approximately 2.5 miles - At the sixth traffic light turn left into Blue Hill Plaza (This will be the second entrance to Blue Hill Plaza
- From Palisades Interstate Parkway - Northbound - Take exit 6W - Orangeburg Road - Pearl River - Continue on Orangeburg Road which becomes Veterans Memorial Drive for approximately 2.5 miles - At the sixth traffic light turn left into Blue Hill Plaza (This will be the second entrance to Blue Hill Plaza Note - If you use a GPS enter the address as 501 Veterans Memorial Drive, Pearl River, NY 10965
- All dogs must wear current rabies tags or have proof of vaccination. - An adult (over 18) must be in control of his/her dog at all times. - Dogs must be on a 6 foot or shorter leash at all times. - Each dog walker may have only one dog. - For safety reasons, no animals other than dogs may participate in the event. - Only bring a dog if he/she will enjoy being around other people and dogs.
- All walkers are welcome, with or without dogs. - Walk the course only if you and your dog are in adequate physical condition. - Female dags in season are not allowed to participate. - Any unruly or aggressive dogs will be asked to leave. - Clean up after your dog. - No tobacco or alcohol products are allowed at the event. - This is a rain or shine event.
- Blue Hill Plaza is just off Exit 6 of the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Pearl River NY - Plenty of free parking is available - Wags for Wheels is a Rain or Shine Event - Registration begins at 9 AM - Wags on Wheels Dog Walk begins at 10AM - Contests and Demonstrations begin at 11AM - Visit with vendors and exhibitors - Refreshments will be available
