Brief Description

Get ready for AWESOME!! Join the Asheville City Schools Foundation and Richard Handy (who brought you the Idiotarod) as teams of four compete for the afternoon through a series of 10 old school events - with a twist, of course. All proceeds benefit Asheville City Schools Foundation. Butter & Beans donations support MANNA Food Bank.

Parking!

We will have people there to assist you with parking. Parking will be located at the upper parking lot on Victoria Rd (behind the school) or to the left side of the building.

Additional Information

This event is a part of the Race For Awesomeness Series (www.raceforawesomeness.com). There are two divisions you can sign up for - The Adult Team Division of Awesomeness and The Family Team Division of Awesomeness. Both have a difficulty level of Awesome. Sign in, registration and your old school warm up will begin at 1:00 along with a bleacher rendition of We Will Rock You. Snack time will be included. Prizes include The Chuck Norris Award, The Karate Kid Award and many awesome others. Team colors/themes are strongly recommended. After all, we wouldn't want you to feel out of place. Important: We also ask that everyone bring 2 canned goods (ideally protein-based like peanut butter or beans) to the event.
