Introduce your child to preschool, where they will become more comfortable and confident in a classroom setting, learn to follow rules, routines and directions, begin to initiate social interactions, and become an integral part of a group. This is a time for children to explore and learn about a new environment. Activities and daily schedules are developed with our youngest preschoolers in mind. We have added Preschool Parent Connection to extend and support this exciting and new learning experience for your child, and to more fully include parents in that transition. The program may include a combination of the following opportunities designed to support your child?s ongoing learning and development of school readiness skills: ◆ Evening Parent/Child learning activities ◆ Evening Parent Discussion groups and meetings with the teacher ◆ Child care for parent-only events (minimal fee applies) ◆ Family Literacy Nights ◆ Home Visits
