What's Included

Learn basic leather working techniques by making a belt sheath for a multi-tool* (included.) Topics include: Types of leather Design Hand-stitching Optional plain or fancy lacing Molding Time and interest permitting, participants may also make a wrist or watch band, learn snap/rivet setting and experiment with various decorative stamps and dye.

About This Organizer

The Columbus Idea Foundry is Ohio’s largest community workshop, maker space, and learning center.  We offer variety of conventional and high tech tools: wood shop, metal smithing and foundry, laser cutter & engraver, CNC ShopBot, electronics, jewelry, warm glass, photography, and more.

We are home to 20 in-house artists, artisans and small businesses, have a rich network of more than 150 members including 50+ entrepreneurs.
