About This Activity

Become a member and join us for fun, injury-free group runs. Following this program you will be able to complete your first marathon or half marathon or improve your finishing time by utilizing run/walk intervals.

What are the target races?

Registration is open for the target races which are the Soldier Marathon & Half Marathon on November 8, 2014 and Jeff Galloway 13.1 on December 14, 2014. Marathon Training begins on 5/17/14 and Half Marathon Training begins on July 26. Bonus this year: Memberships include training through the JG 13.1

Refund Policy

Please READ the waiver for restrictions. No strollers or pets. The training fee is non-refundable. However, requests for refunds will be considered for medical reasons and must be accompanied by a physician's letter. They must be submitted prior to the half-way point in the training season. A $25 processing fee applies.

About Jeff Galloway's Training ProgramsJeff Galloway's Marathon Training Programs are for all levels of runners, from beginning runners to Boston qualifiers. This Low-mileage, Injury-free Training Program is for those who have jobs, families, and a life! The Columbus Galloway Training Program meets on Saturday mornings at various locations across the Columbus area, and follows Jeff Galloway’s training guidelines to get you safely across the finish line of a half or full marathon if your goals are to finish, or to achieve a ‘PR’. Our group runs feature walking breaks at regular intervals based on your skill level. Pace groups (of usually 8-15) are set up according to current fitness level, and a Group Leader is assigned to keep the speed slow enough for all members, and to enforce walk breaks from the beginning to the end.Running is more fun when running together, as each member is motivated to run more often, and stay injury free. As you share stories, (gossip, issues) and pull one another along, the miles go by much more quickly. Lifelong friendships are formed in these mission-oriented, but laid back groups.
