Triathlon Swim Clinic - Four Week Program
Beginner Swim Clinic 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Clinic is designed for individuals who are new to swimming, returning to swimming or new to the sport of triathlon. During the four week session, we will use a building block method to insure athletes focus on the key elements of swimming. The program will emphasize breath control and breathing, body position and full-body position, along with an effective catch and underwater pull. This clinic offers a skill based technique training approach to help you become an efficient swimmer. Session will include a video analysis.
Swim Training Clinic 2:15 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Clinic is designed for athletes who are looking to improve their performance by focusing on technique and fitness training. Focusing on both elements will allow you to spend less energy and swim faster. During this 4 week session, you will learn drills to improve your; balance, full-body rotation, stroke technique, cadence and pacing. Workouts are designed to improve your swim conditioning, power, speed and efficiency through interval training. Learn how to make the swim the beginning of a great race. Session will include a video analysis.
TriFitness Training is brought to you by Anne Johnson, a USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach who has a passion for helping athletes achieve fitness goals. Anne has assembled an experienced team of coaches with specialties in each component of triathlon. She has developed and managed numerous traininig programs, and is recognized for her commitment to and knowledge of the sport.
