Day Camp, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, M-F. Camp will at Palmer Park. Bring a sack lunch, snacks and water. This fun and safety-focused Mountain Biking Camp is the starting point for kids who have not spent much time on trails or have some fear or hesitation with riding up and down hills. This camp offers kids the opportunity to practice their biking skills on a variety of trails. They will learn basic skills such as starting, stopping, breaking and turning on gravel. Plus they will have a lot of hands on riding time to get them comfortable in a variety of situations. Kids will also learn about basic bike maintenance such as changing flats and solving gear problems. This camp is intended for beginner riders but please make sure your child is comfortable on two wheels before registering for this program (not on training wheels). Kids will be broken into groups based on their ability so that they can get the most from their camp experience.
