About This Activity

The Strive 2 Tri Youth Splash & Dash will be a safe and fun event that focuses on participation and not competition for all ability levels. This short course Aquathon consists of a swim in a 3ft pool followed by a run on a closed course trail. Distances include Ages 7-10 (100m swim and 1K run) and Ages 11-15 (200m swim and 2K run). All Young Athletes will receive an event shirt & a finisher medal.  

 

ADDITIONAL INFO: The Ellen Linson Pool is a family friendly pool which is 3ft - 5ft deep and accessible to physically challenged individuals.  There will be an area roped off for new swimmers where they will be able to participate in the pool only in 3ft of water for their safety.  The run portion of the race is performed on a paved trail closed to vehicular traffic.  Multiple Lifeguards will be present to ensure the safety of the young athletes.

 

USAT Membership: You must have an annual USAT Member to participate or must purchase the membership during the registration.  ($10 annually and select STRIVE 2 TRI JR TRIATHLON CLUB as your club affiliation)

 

LITTLE ONES FUN RUN: Register onsite for a FREE Fun Run for those 6 years old and younger (50yds). Fun Run starts at 7:45 a.m.  Our little participants in the FUN RUN can sign up on race day and receive a finisher medal as well.
