This year’s event will be on Saturday, November 5thin Cocoa Village’s beautiful Riverfront Park. We’ll take the one-mile stroll with our buddies down Riverside Drive along the scenic Indian River. Back at the park, we’ll be providing music, food, crafts, and activities like pony rides, petting zoo, bounce house, train ride, face painting and more to help create a fun party atmosphere that encourages fulfilling interaction with our buddies. Event details and schedule
Check in for the Buddy Walk schedule is 8:30-9:00am. This is when you will receive your shirt(s) and wristband(s). All waivers will be verified at this time...you can sign them online at active.com (check the box for each person in your group).
Opening ceremonies will begin approximately 9:00am
The walk starts at 10:00 am following the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem.
Food and refreshments will be available for you after the walk.
We will announce some of our local Special Olymipcs participants; FEDS is a proud sponsor of Special Olympics Brevard. We will also have a few small group performances for your enjoyment.
The rest of the day is up to you! You can enjoy all the activities, exhibitors, face painting, food (while it lasts) until we close up around 1:00 pm.
