About This Activity

The GFT Ultra is the second oldest iron-distance race in the continental United States and features a 2.4 mile swim; 112 mile bike, and a 26.2 mile run. Individual, Aqua-Bike, and two & three person relay team competition is available.

The Intermediate distance is not quite as tough as a half, yet more challenging than an Olympic Distance. The GFT Intermediate distance course features a 2K swim; 62K bike; and a 15K run. In miles that equates to a 1.24 swim, 37 bike, and a 9.3 run. Sign up as an Individual, or be part of a two or three person Relay Team.

Floridian 15K:

The 2nd Annual Floridian 15K Run (9.3 mile) course travels along Lake Minneola with an out and back section on the South Lake Trail. Support/aid stations will be located approximately one mile apart. Each support station is equipped with water, thirst quencher, ice, sponges, cola (defizzed), fruit and assorted foods. There is not a cutoff time. This is a professionally managed and chip timed event.

Open Water Swim (2K or 2.4 Miles):

Both the swims use the same course as the triathlon and as such, you must be a member of USAT in order to participate.
