Clay Road Training Run Anyone up for a little 10 miler or more if you have the time. Join some members of the South Lake Striders and other crazy runners, walkers, including myself, we will be running the clay road in Clermont starting at 6:30 am on Saturday, July 13th. That is right, beat the heat of the day. This is a training run that will not be for the faint of heart, or those that faint in the heat. There will be limited support, medical will be your cell phone, water will be dropped at various spots on the course, and you will be required to start with two bottles of water. Just to make it more fun, we will go a little farther than the one loop to make it an even 10 miler. There is no charge but please register or RSVP to Todd Lytle via calling or texting to (407) 914-9612. You are training at your own risk; however, you will be required to sign a waiver to keep me out of hot water. Just think, soft clay, a rising sun, hills, snakes, those steel colored locomotive looking caterpillars and a couple pick-up trucks dusting you.Sound really fun? Thank you for participating, donations gladly accepted and very much appreciated.
