About This Activity

This workshop is intended for photographers who are comfortable with the basic operation of their cameras and would like to learn to improve their creative control. Students will learn to move away from the camera?s auto mode and take control of the camera settings in order to get the desired results. Topics will include how to shoot under difficult light, when to use flash, and problem solving. Assignment and critique sessions will be heldeach class, including composition, framing, cropping, controlling the depth of field, and some special effects. An optional weekend local field trip can be scheduled to allow better hands on application. This workshop is a great follow up to the Digital Camera Basics. DSLR preferred.
