What's Included

NASA is preparing to visit Mars! What kind of mechanisms will be used to prepare and propel NASA’s new launch vehicle, SLS (Space Launch System)? How will the new Martians maintain power once they arrive? Campers will build LEGO models of mechanisms that may be used with the SLS and the crew capsule, Orion. They will investigate how pneumatics, hydraulics, solar and wind energy could be used to help astronauts arrive and survive on Mars!
