Stocks, Soups, and Stews

About This Activity

Nothing warms the body and spirit like a hot hearty soup or stew on a cold blustery day. We will start with homemade stocks, and talk about some tricks that make all the difference between a good soup, and a great one. In class, we will make a hearty lentil and pancetta stew, and a bacon leek and potato soup. Feel free to bring a beverage to enjoy with your food at the end of the class. There is a $15 supply fee payable to the instructor at the class. Instructor: Shayna Ozer. CARD Community Center, Kitchen.
