About This Activity

Run or Walk...It';s a race we all can enter! Join The Race to End Poverty hosted by A Wider Circle and help children and adults lift themselves out of poverty. Shirts are guaranteed for the first 500 people to register.

Why $33? For $33, A Wider Circle can furnish the home of a child or adult living without the basics: bed, couch, dining room table, chairs, pots and pans, linens, and many other items that so many of us take for granted. For each runner who registers, one more person will have his or her home furnished!

This year';s Race is a 4K, featuring an updated route around Meadowbrook Park. It is perfect as part of your training for a longer race, as a relaxing run, or to show four kilometers who';s boss.

Our Race t-shirts have always been cool, but this year they are part of something even bigger. Be sure to wear yours on Race Day! Shirts are guaranteed for the first 500 participants to register

A prize will be awarded for the largest team that participates. See how many people you can register - every runner will make a difference!

Start a fundraising page and see how many homes you can furnish by asking your friends and family to support you in the Race to End Poverty. Prizes will be awarded for the individual and team that raise the most money.

Want to support the cause while sleeping in? Join the Bed Brigade! We will send you a race shirt and number to wear while you dream of ways to ensure that all children and adults in our area have a bed to sleep on.

If you are interested in volunteering or becoming a sponsor, please email therace@awidercircle.org.
