Safe Bicycling for Fun and Fitness - Session 4

About This Activity

If you are thinking of getting back in shape, want to enjoy the scenery, or just want to dust off you bike and take a ride, this course will give you the knowledge to make wise and healthy decisions.

This course entails four, two hour sessions. Sessions 1 and 4 are stand alone classes. Sessions 2 and 3 are practical on the bike, outside classes and are a must for practicing course content from session 1.

Session 4 - Maintenance and Fitness:

  • Fit your bike
  • Change a flat
  • Wheels, bearings, etc.
  • What gear to use and adjustments
  • Fitness and your bike
  • Brakes and adjustments
