Come join us for the 2nd-annual 2012 Red Devil Challenge 25k Trail Run and Relay outside of Cashmere, Washington, on Sunday, June 3. This 25k single-track loop trail run will be very, challenging with over 4800 feet of elevation gain. This loop spans nicely graded trails that are well maintained and quite buffed out. The trails dissect beautiful glades of ponderosa pines and pine grass, traverse ridges with views out to the Enchantments and Mission Ridge, and also cuts through cooler, darker stands of Douglas fir. This loop makes a superb run and will challenge even the most seasoned trail runner.
Parking is limited at the Sandcreek Trailhead and a Northwest Forest Pass is required on ALL vehicles.
Because of the limited parking, we will be transporting runners, via shuttle, at 8 a.m. from the Mission District in downtown Cashmere. to the starting point at the trailhead, and then transporting them back to the Mission District after the race has concluded, roughly at noon/12:30 p.m. The Mission District is located on Mission Avenue, between Division and Vine streets (and one block south of Cashmere';s main drag - Cottage Avenue).
New this year, will be a new start finish area at the Sandcreek Trailhead and a new team relay format.
New Team Format: Two person teams will complete the 25k course as individuals, but their combined times will be tabulated and ranked. (i.e Runner A completes the course in 2:25 and Runner B completes the course in 3:00. Total team time is 5:25) The teams can be all male, all female or mixed. Team runners will not be included in the individual awards
Each runner receives:

- Post race food and local beer
- Chance to win great swag
- Bragging rights on finishing this run
