The Carolina RailHawks will be holding a 2-day First-Team Open Tryout on Saturday, December 6, 2014 and Sunday, December 7, 2014. The Open Tryouts will take place at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC. In previous years, the Open Tryouts have been a successful tool for finding talented players that can contribute to the RailHawks first-team squad. Former RailHawks MVP and current Columbus Crew player, Daniel Paladini, was discovered and signed through the open tryouts. More recently, December 2013 tryout participants Uriah Bentick and Jordan Burt were signed by RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke for the 2014 NASL Season. RailHawks Head Coach, Colin Clarke, RailHawks assistant coaches, and RailHawks management will be on-site to evaluate all participating trialists. As in years past, the RailHawks organization plans to invite at least two participants to the team’s preseason camp prior to the 2015 NASL Season. Ultimately, the level of the participants will be the determining factor. Space will be limited to the first 70 participants to register (65 field players and 5 goalkeepers).
