The Carrollton Triathlon is in its 25th year. One of the most popular triathlons in the southeast. Not considered difficult in terms of terrain but usually pretty hot & humid. 70' at the start and 85' at the finish.

1/4 mile triangle around pristine Lake Carroll. Lifeguards in canoes/jetskis throughout the course. 6 minutes fastest swimmers - 30 minutes slowest. Wave starts (4) 2 minutes apart
12 miles throughout rural Carroll County. First half rolling - last half mostly flat and fast. 30 minutes fastes riders - 60 minutes slowest.
3.4 miles around Lake Carroll. Mostly rolling with the last mile downhill and flat. 19 minutes fastest - 60 minutes slowest.
Male/female - 14-under and 15-19 in 5 year increments up to 70+
Clydesdale - 200 Lbs. Athena - 140 lbs.(no age groups)
Teams - male-female-mixed (No age groups)

Registration and packet pickup race day only at Lake Carroll
From Atlanta, take I-20 approximately 30 miles to Hwy 61/W. Georgia College exit. Go left approximately 12 miles (just past the big "Ryan's" sign) to Northside Dr.. Turn right and go approximately 1/2 mile to the 2nd Rd. (Northlake) and turn left. Follow that road approximately 1 mile to Lake Carroll Recreation tennis courts (Transition area).
Individuals - $65 until July 6th, $75 thereafter
Teams - $130 until July 6th, $150 thereafter
